Scheduled upon request, this evening class will cover the purpose of the evaluation form: how to score the evaluation form, the criteria for evaluation, and approaches for discussion during the evaluation process. Fundamentals of fire alarm installation. This class will study the importance of fire alarm systems and will work to develop an understanding of the state of the art technology available today. Topics covered include basic requirements such as fire protection system types, power supplies, monitoring for integrity, wiring, and an introduction to the basic operating principles of devices or equipment. Understanding how equipment works will reinforce code intent and help the student develop better installation techniques. **Class size limited to 15.

Each student will learn the proper forms of lighting installation and commissioning of lighting controls.
